Having moved 3 times before, the Terra Alta Public Library was dedicated on July 8, 2000 at its newest location. Nearly double the size of the previous facility, the library shares the building with the Terra Alta Town Hall. The Terra Alta Public Library serves 13,000 residents in Preston and Garrett Counties.
